Salaries and grades for who?

You need to be specific, and have some sort of reasoning behind your request.

Then you complete the FOIA Request Forms if they have such for the entity you are requesting from.

But basically, it appears the you have no clue of what info you are requesting.

Then you need to contact FCPS, ask if they have a FOIA Form, submit that along with a formal letter to them requesting the Salaries of the officials. -- you may need to list individually.

As for HS grades, if it's grades of the officials, those are not Job related in the sense that they were in HS many years prior to employment, and would be out of FCPS control or Responsibility. So you have no Right to that information.

If you're requesting current student's grades other than your children, Forget it. They are Minors and have protection under the Law.

You'll probably want help from an attorney, and send copies to the Ffx. Co. Board of Supervisors.

Anyway, Expect it to be Rejected.

I'll tell you my HS grades. I graduated in the top 90 percent of my class.

Yep, could hardly spell high school.

Now I teach it.

Better have someone else write that letter for you since you're struggling to write a thread title here.

Ask about the "special needs" student who was sent to a boarding school in Pennsylvania because said student could not get their needs met in Fairfax County. Not only was the cost of attending this school paid for by Fairfax County (i.e. taxpayers), the kids parents were reimbursed by Fairfax County for the expenses they would incur to go visit their child. Furthermore, if the parents were not able to go get their child to bring them home for a visit, say Thanksgiving or Christmas, Fairfax County would send a Fairfax County employee in a Fairfax County vehicle to pick up the child and bring them home to FFX.

Do you by chance look like you have spent 80% of your life in a tanning bed? Asking for a friend.

I don't pass or fail anyone. They earn their own grade.

You don't have to have a reason.
Salaries are easy.
Grades are protected.
You don't need a lawyer.
Don't bother sending a copy to the Board of Supervisors.

the typical security measure honored by business, federal, (and likely county) is that any accounting information containing data about individuals does not also contain the name of the individuals

* this accounting measure is of course put in place by rich people seeking to hide white collar crime from their spouses, the courts, other employees

* it is a communist / facist way to operate, to operate assuming the veil of theft is in place and that there is privacy in theft. HOWEVER, it is the `standard' for the last (two) decades

if you ask for a report accountants doublessly already prepared and printed, the report will be nearly free (the fee of merely copying the report on paper or internet transfer by page)

the law concerning public data (including research / mining info) being free to the public means THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CITIZENS / DENIZENS: it is forwardly not extended to hostile countries and also not illegal citizens, nor "competing countries" (anything that might lead to contract competition offered by other countries)

the "free data" is free because (your) taxes paid for it. in that respect only rich people who give their name address and license should be able to access information that was expensive to create - since their taxes more funded it and are subject to loss if it leaves the country
