So, the reason this is happening is because the propellers, driven by engines, develop enough lift such that the aircraft's weight is surmounted which results in liftoff. In the case of the unique V-22, once the aircraft has reached a suitable operating altitude as adjudged by the pilot and the aircraft's operating envelope, the pilot selects level flight trim, the engines and propellers rotate 90 degrees and the aircraft begins operation like a traditional airplane. So, yeah...physics and aerodynamics...that's why the V-22 flies over Burke.
