I've been to church, and you hear plenty talk of ghosts-the holy ghost in particular.

What is the catholic church position on ghosts? Other churches?

How come I've never, ever seen one?

I'm sure there is some crazy BS answer, you only see them if you want to/or believe.

Mother, Father crazy ass brother, all dead. I'm sure one of them would "ghost" me if they could. F' with me. Or give me a hot tip or advice, like don't go to work tomorrow something bad is going to happen.

I wwould ghost the hell out of people if I could. It would probably be better than living.

Absolutely. It's all hocus-pocus. In Haiti Voodoo and Christianity go hand in hand. If you place stock in such things, it is real, to the extend that it affects you and your actions.

OK. Yes I agree with the above.

In the Bible when Saul visited the Witch of Endor it says it in fact WAS Samuel who was awakened from his grave .. King Saul was trying to ask advice from the deceased prophet Samuel, but the Law of Moses in the Bible forbids consulting mediums (witches, etc.) so

Saul did pay a price for doing so, he and his son died in the very next battle Israel fought.


Also, "ghost hunting" a friend of mine was into this until he almost died -- he had a friend who continued on with ghost hunting -- that friend heard voices and had dreams that he was going to die -- 2 weeks into hearing these voices -- he went from being physically healthy to dropping dead of a rare condition (do not know which condition) .. but yes this happened.


So take care when thinking about consulting dead relatives and such ..

And yes there is an afterlife
and yes there is a Good force -- God
and and Evil force -- Satan ...

there is a spiritual realm, we cannot normally see with our human eyes.

OK. But's it's true -- Just read the Bible and you will know more.

Correction -- I DISAGREE with "vernon mcgee" .... but I believe Demonic activity exists too.

The bible does not implicitly deny the exists of ghosts. Despite claims that science disproves the existence of ghosts, there isn't actually any prove that they absolutely do not exist. They are very real, especially to those who have scene them.

It's sort of interesting. Human civilization has evolved so much that we're able to detect tiny tiny amounts of energy that was released 13 billion years ago, from billions of light years away. Teeny tiny amounts, from literally the other side of the observable universe. It can't be seen by eyes, can't be heard by ears, and without a tremendous amount of scientific research, we'd never even know it was there. But, we can detect it, and measure it, and understand it. Faint waves of energy, from billions of light years away, we can see them.

On the other hand no one in the history of the planet has ever detected a "ghost" despite the fact they're supposedly in the same room as us, know who we are and are trying to communicate directly with us.

The reason: because it's total fucking nonsense.
