It is against the rules to have food or drink on the metro. Unless you're a black, if thats the case fucking have at it. If you're black and someone tells you that its against the rules, they are a racist. Also feel free to leave your empty food containers and grape soda bottles on the seats when you're done. Someone else will pick up after you so you can hurry up and get home to your shitty section 8 housing.

I don't take metro much. However, I had a cup of coffee one day and I did take it and every other person looked at me like i was insane. I also thought that day a lot of weird stuck up assholes take the metro to work.
If you can take food and drinks on a plane who would think the metro is such a highly regarded place to not do so. Yes, clean up after yourself you filthy animals. We live in a society after all.

I remember last summer metro transit police did arrest an overweight, disrespectful, hostile black female teenager for eating on the metro. There of course was cellphone video of it (nothing improper on the police end), but the usual "Obama coalition" folks in the media expressed outrage...
