DWI Checkpoint Lottery 10/10/2009

DWI Checkpoint in Mason Police District

Fairfax County police officers from around the county will conduct a sobriety checkpoint to deter and apprehend intoxicated drivers on Saturday, October 10 from 11:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. Sunday. All motorists will be stopped and drivers will be checked to assure that their abilities to drive have not been impaired by alcohol or drugs.


You know the drill...

Number of vehicles stopped
Number of DWI/DUI
Number of misc offenses


Remember this is a checkpoint and not a directed patrol, so the ratio of citizens detained/delayed to useful arrests will be much higher than directed patrols.

Ok, I'm guessing Westbound lanes of Arlington Boulevard prior to Annandale Road.

Humm Columbus weekend and chilly so I'll guess slightly low.

Looks like a close tie between Warhawk and bdimag.

"without going over in any one or more category" has always been in the rules.

We would need a consensus of 2/3 of the registered users to agree to amend the rules. It is just not worth the hassle.
