What is the deal with Dr. O from Hayfield? From what I hear, he has totally turned that school for the worst. Wonder how much longer FCPS will allow him to hold his job. Faculty, staff and parents are not happy with him and hope to see him go. Since FCPS does not believe in firing people, I am sure they will find him a great job at that wonderful building they call Gatehouse.

When was Hayfield ever a good school?

I think there are few good principals at FCPS. They are trained to be Nazi's in their leadership style. Try communicating with one. You have to go through their Guard Dog aka Administrative Assistant first. Or call your School Board Rep and complain in order to get their attention. They are too busy to bother with parents or students.

That school has gone down hill-after they raped and pillaged it for SOCO-which of course lead to overcrowding and a need to spend $50 million on a new school.

Don't get me started...

The bigger question is why are there few female principals at the high school level?

It seems to be dominated by men at the top.

Fuck SoCo, and fuck FFX Station. How is it the other 24 high schools have survived without the valuable talent at South County. You're talking about a school that's really just a new building. It sits in a feild where escaped inmates REGULARLY ran through the tall grass with sirens wailing back when this was "Lorton" And now they rebranded this Fairfax Station? Are you kidding me? Get over yourself if you think this is the "OC" Next time you hear how great SoCo is or Crosspointe is ask why this area of the county ended up with Route 95, a landfill, a prison, a sewage treatment plant, plus that giant trash burning chimney tower. Whatever Hayfield is or was, it was never the rectum of Fairfax County. Funny how Woodson or Madison doesn't have a prison or shit plant either.
