Not that I'm blaming the victim, but so many of the reports start off say the person was out walking at 1:00 a.m. or later in the morning. Nothing good is out on the streets at that time of night.

Agree, but if you work in the service industry you don't necessarily have a choice of not working till closing time. I worked in security at Lansdowne out in Loudoun back in the 90's when there was nothing else out there and we would walk employees to their cars after dark if they wanted us to.

Out of an interest in gender equality, I can think of several women who would benefit from being punched in the face. Beyond that, I'd be surprised if anyone would have an appetite for anything else.

I'm used to waking up and having the woman next to me crying, but not because I punched her.
