A treadmill caused a major fire in a Reston home Wednesday, fire officials report.
Two occupants were in the home and one called 911 at about 8:38 a.m. When firefighters arrived in the 2200 block of Marginella Drive, fire was showing from the rear of the 2-story, single family home.

They brought the fire under control in about 10 minutes, according to a statement from the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department.

The occupant who called 911 said smoke alarms activated after the fire had already been discovered. Both residents got out of the home before firefighters arrived.

Investigators say the fire started in a treadmill in the sunroom in the rear of the house. Damages are estimated at $23

I knew exercise was bad for me.

It seems to me that this is all because of a poor-quality treadmill. Fire is really terrible. I have a treadmill at home. I chose it for a very long time. I have read a lot of articles about this and I can say that it is very difficult to choose a high-quality one. If you are also interested in how to do this - read this post . Do not recommend buying it without consulting a specialist. In order to get a good quality product you have to take into consideration, why do you need it for, where are you gonna install, what is your budget. Yep, choosing the cheapest is not the smartest idea, if you don't want to happen as in the article case.

What happens when people buy shitty treadmills... Before buying one try to google and read some reviews. Listen to some opinions, conclude and after go and buy it. The thing is that I bought one 1 month ago, because of winter and COVID-19 I prefer to make some exercises indoor. I bought the
best treadmill under 500, and I am very pleased with him. It's easy to use and not so big. I placed it in my room and it fits there very well. Truly recommend it to all because you won't be disappointed!

Why do you even need a treadmill? Can't you go for a walk in the neighborhood? Last time I checked, Reston was not a dangerous town. And it has walkways that go under the busy roads.
