Okay, so I guess it's been 2 yrs. to the day (?) since that house burned, does anybody know what the deal is with it? Last year there was a sold sign in the yard, but then nothing happened?

It was bought by Arthur Treachers and they are working on the zoning to build a new restaurant on the site. All the people of Kings Park will be blessed with the worlds best fish, chips, hush puppies and Fanta selections.

The property was sold to a flipper. He can't afford the tear down and rebuild. He's waiting for the property to increase in value and then will sell as is.

Dude...it was discussed here. Search for the thread. Learn how to fish and stop waiting around for someone to hand you a fish.

Probably someone signed a contract to buy the house (likely a flipper or wanna-be developer) but then they either couldn't get the money together or they got cold feet for any one of a number of reasons- the property is stigmatized (because of the death of Paul Church in the fire that destroyed the house), restrictive covenants (meaning no McMansion), etc.

The house is still listed as being owned by absentee landlords Banajamin K. and Judith M. Canty of Virginia Beach, who've owned it for nearly 30 years.

Not. you're the same stupid troll who posted all but 3 or 4 replies and are probably the OP too. Someone needs to lock you up.
