2009 Official Thread of the Washington Capitals

Well hockey fans the season is finally here. The Caps are up in Boston right now against last year's number 1 seed in the East, the Boston Bruins. Caps are up 4-0.

Should be a fun year. Afterall us Fairfax County residents are about half of the season ticket holders at the Verizon Center. Lets go Caps!

Someone should forward the tape of that game to the Redskins. Maybe they'll get some hints as to how to have a good solid convincing victory!

The Caps are starting out great. I just hope that Boudreau makes sure Mike Green worries more about stopping goals than in making them. Otherwise, make him a center and bring in more effective guys on defense.

Ovie is on fire!!! The caps can score more goals any given night than the redskins can score points any given sunday. Varly needs to step up and become a bigtime goalie this year.
