Why do people wear sunglassesses on top of their head?

Been noticing a lot lately, in the bar circuit, that mainly men, wear sunglasses on top of their head while inside an establishment. What's up with that? Why wouldn't one just leave them in the car or coat pocket?

I find it akin to wearing ones baseball cap backwards, I thought the bill of a hat was to block sun, not the back or side of ones head.
Why not just wear a beanie.

Because they are idiots. Wear their stupid sunglasses on their heads, inside, when its dark. They look so cool !!! The backwards baseball hat is even cooler ! Keep the rim flat and keep a sticker on it. Morons. Next they'll wear their pants backwards.... all the cool kids are doing it, so lets all look like idiots.

They are worn on the head because when you go into a proper bar, one without much natural light, around noon and you leave at 7/7:30 PM, your eyes can't handle the sunlight blasting in your eyes, so you need the sunglasses till your eyes adjust,
