The truth about Mr. Terrence Yarborough

I worked as SRO at Robinson when Terrence Yarborough was a subschool principal.
I can tell you I've never been so disgusted by a school official before or since then.
Some staff seemed to like him, but not all. There were some teachers and counselors who felt like he didn't really care about individual kids but did care about his career. He racked up some teacher praise for dealing with high level discipline problems, but when it came to really working with students longer term, and involving parents, they saw way more instances of stonewalling or disregard. Some good staff were able to get out of his department, but others were just so glad when he moved to another school.

How long is his suspension for the inappropriate contact with a student?

As someone who had Mr Yarborough as a vice principal at Sandburg and West Potomac I can say with confidence, that this kid was probably just being a little shit. honestly, he was a pretty great guy, always went to him for guidance. I grew up in a military family and he definitely has that sort of discipline in him. It really sucks that a belligerent child and a rash decision can ruin a mans career but then again, this is fairfax. who are we going to fool?
