All The Forests In Centreville

From what I know there's a about 2000 acres of just forests in Centreville. Very uncharacteristic of a city in Fairfax county to have that much space just lying around. Any idea if there's gonna be any developments there? Perhaps new houses or attractions?

Centreville is sitting on top of miles of rock. Like already mentioned, the easy to develope land is prolly used up. And the rest may be unsuitable for traditional development.

Most of the acreage you are referring to is owned by the Fairfax County Park Authority and will never be developed. Makes Centreville a very attractive suburban area to live around. Some of the woodlands may become active recreation at some point in the future but the bulk of it will remain as is.

I'm aware of all the farms and parks around but there hundreds of acres around Virginia Run and there haven't been any new neighborhoods since the early 2000s when Westfield was built.
