Though GMU has some on campus housing, it is still very much a commuter school. So those who come are very much a reflection of the diversity of the area. Like computer malware which multiplies, people will hang around those of similar backgrounds, cultures, and behaviors. Diverse others you may respect/love in a faith sense, what you like is what you gravitate to, especially when there are language barriers (no one can be expected to learn the 170 languages in FCPS), or different tastes (tried Thai food a few times, but personally found bland). Its no different in the work place, marketplace, where you live (previous place where lived had so many cultures that did not speak English when a 911 neighborhood safety situation, it was not good).

If they can pay the bills to the college then it does not really matter.
They do like international admissions, even if the whole time all they do is talk about "My Country" and then go back and preach hate on the USA.
I will not donate as Alumni until they take the perv bigot out of the Admissions Office who does not admit students who do not share the same political views as him.

I believe Tech is comparable. If you want to attend a more ivory school I believe JMU, CNU and Liberty have higher white percentages than Virginia in state.

I've been to JMU and their dorms are actually better. I haven't looked into UVA. Obviously you are the ignorant one here, shilling for liberal GMU. Isn't that pedophile who is in charge of admissions supposed to be fired soon? He claims he won't accept people with different ideologies to his. That's textbook Fascism and legally considered discrimination. It's not his business what one's political beliefs are. GMU is a public and state-funded college so they don't get to hide behind the "our campus, our rules" garbage.
