This is the best part:

"Monique Wells, another Fairfax Underground user, testified at a previous court hearing unrelated to the lawsuit..."

Class act. Shit comes up from another unrelated hearing.

Man that's an absurd amount of money, that's likely more then eesh will earn in his entire lifetime. Even if half the stuff alleged by Miz was true, eesh really did torture the poor guy so some sort of monetary compensation was probably deserved but 1.4 million fucking dollars?

I don't know if everything eesh did to the guy is worth 1.4 million, but I do hope that Miz leaves it at that. He won, despite all odds and despite nearly the entire site abandoning him he backed up his words. He won.

I get that, 100%. Can't get blood out of a stone and you can't get a million dollars out of someone who's broke. Still though, they found a judge that thought cyberbullying was worth 1.4 MILLION dollars. That's what is really terrifying to me.

you must be unfamiliar with how abusive and relentless a collections agency can be, whether you've got the money or not.

don't think for a second that wasn't the real prize here: the ability to fuck with eesh for LIFE.

Are inheritances protected from judgement? He is going to be the owner of a shack once his dad passes, granted the shack is worth as much as a Tesla model X.

Absolutely not. And neither are intentional torts dischargeable in bankruptcy. So this will follow him for the rest of his lifeā€¦for whatever that's worth

You must be unfamiliar with how many similar judgements are never collected in any substantial way.

He's about 100, so that inheritance will be property of miz sooner rather than later.

Which still doesn't end up getting any significant money for them.

I doubt the TV judgement scammers like J. G. Wentworth would even buy it. lol

Appeals and/or Bankruptcy?

Does bankruptcy clear judicial settlements?

How much of the award will the layers get, pre moreno?

Dear Sharon,

I came to this forum from the article. Are you not even concerned that your offspring commented on child molestation? Many goof around on the internet, but no one makes comments like that unless there is some deep dark thoughts there. What are you doing about it? You kid (no sorry man child) made these comments. The autistic community should be outraged that media used this as an excuse. Sickening. The fact that you defend him (regardless he is your blood) is even more disturbing). The only way you get into some FFU conflict is because you engaged it. Get help for your son. How about putting parental controls on him as long as he is under your roof. Please FBI take the their electronics and see what they are up to.

I'm not a fan of any of the parties involved. Moreno deserves no money. Technology exists where you can monitor activity. You are a disturbed family just as much as Basl is. Fighting a war on him only shows what losers you are. Sick, sick, sick. How about you put the whole family on a diet-- bunch of losers everyone is.

I am not an attorney but the way I understand it is that the judgment is enforceable. If eesh's father left him the house and/or other assets the Moreno's would have claim to those assets. The statute of limitations on a judgment is 20 or 8 years, depending on a couple things, in Virginia.

But lets say that eesh gets a job. The Moreno's can garnish his wages for xx% to satisfy the judgment. If eesh is paying, however little, then statute of limitations don't apply.

If eesh moves to another state, the Moreno's take that judgment to the other state's court and have it enforced there. This is routine.

This will be an albatross around eesh's neck for a very very long time

Most civil judgments can be discharged in bankruptcy. There are limited circumstances when they can not be discharged, but none of those seem to apply here, such as fraud or actual injury. It will be up to the Morenos to collect anything. They could hire a collection agency, if they are willing to pay up-front for the collection costs. I've been through this with dead-beat clients of my own. They will never see a single cent.
