It is undeniable that Trump has energised the white base (in fact if Romney had won 5% more of the white vote he would have won overall) with record turnout during primary season and high attendance at rallies. Enthusiasm for Clinton is low while Trump is high. I think there is a good chance that a fair amount of low income whites will turn out for Trump, and trump is polling closer to 20% among blacks. Expect closer results as we get closer to the election.
