Giant Food employee with child at work

Just got back from a quick shop at Giant Food at the Greenbriar Town Center. While I am unloading my stuff onto the belt as the person in front of me is checking out, I notice a kid in a chair across from the cashier. Odd. My turn to check out. As I am standing there while my items are being scanned and bagged this kid is engaging the cashier constantly... "Mama, blah blah blah. Response. Mama, blah blah blah. Response". Really? Someone can work a shift at Giant with their kid at their side?

FCPS could not provide bus transportation if they did not allow pre-school aged kids (and grandkids) to ride along. If a bus driver had to pay for a sitter, it wouldn't pay them to drive.

When I drove a bus, I used to marvel at the little kids that my co-workers would show up with at o'dark thirty, in the freezing cold and/or rain. One girl had four of them under five years old.

I remember one time, the idiots in charge tried to end the policy of kids riding along. So many resignations rolled in that they were forced to back down.

She was working. Not on welfare, not out stealing, not out hurting someone, and unlike you, minding her child and her business. What the hell is wrong with people today? The child was by your account behaving, and the woman was doing her job. Mind your own business and leave people be you trouble making jackass. She doesn't need your kind of help. Putz.

She was unable to engage the customer purchasing items at the store because of the distraction of her kid.

>minding her child and her business.

No, she was not minding "her" business. She is being PAID to be minding the business of her employer.

>the woman was doing her job.

Was she?

How is this your (or OP's) problem? If the store manager is OK with it, then it's his or her problem, not yours. JFC, get a life.

Wait, OP posted at 4:26PM, probably from work -- quick, call his/her manager, get some disciplinary action going for not serving the company!

Probably. But no one knows because we weren't there. Such a fucking weirdo. I know you probably don't care but you're a huge weirdo. I won't call you old school. I'll call you a weirdo. Douche bag.
