I've heard these things. I took it with a grain of salt, thinking there may be a bit of truth but could've been exaggerated.
The Washington Post article verified the first story about police coming to his house as he was tripping after a 3 day binge and covered it up. He was supposed to go away to get rehabbed and moved to California. Now people don't believe he got any help and came back by being appointed to a vacancy on council. Next term he ran for mayor and has served until this debacle.

Now we have a vacancy for Mayor.

The cover up continues now as the council refuses to condemn behavior of this guy and instead accuses past opponents as setting this up somehow.
Where is the outrage?
How many people will call out the council members close to the problem, namely Jeff Greenfield? And David Myer? And not sure who else

What else are they hiding?!!!

If THIS isn't enough to inspire those who live in the city to follow the process then we will get what we deserve.

Interesting. There are those who were aware that Scott was living with a friend in the Mews on Chain Bridge Road. He did sometimes dog sit for a friend outside of the City. After the event in August, he left for in-house re-hab outside of the State, but is now back. Could be wrong, but I think he can vote.

Hard to say since he just seems to crash pads wherever ... Also understand he'd get his meth up the street at Layton Hall and had a special meth buddy he'd smoke it with on University. The guy has since moved after his wife was about to leave him.

I hope for the sake of the city citizens he's not here.
