Do not forget, FCPS spent a chunk of change to sue judicial watch to avoid responding to a FOIA request. This is how FcPS will spend money from the meals tax. The money will be used to keep information from the public, advance hidden agendas and build empires.
It will NOT be used to improve the failing schools. The school board and FCPS management actually see the schools as an impediment to their objectives of attaining higher office and entering into contracts with questionable consultants.

Fairfax Co is hopeless. They could pass a 100% meals tax and the county will still go down the toilet. It used to be a great place to live. Absolutely nothing that has happened in the past 25 years is an improvement.

Teachers are just pawns in a power game being played by the school board and the FCPS administrators. The same can be said for students.
Renaming J.E.B. Stuart doesn't help teachers or students, but it has become a top priority. These people have their own, concealed agendas. They are building little empires. Just watch, one of them will emerge with a "transgender services" empire replete with staff and budget. There are already a few establishing themselves as being in charge of "educational methodologies" through the retention of Brach, Flippen, Jensen and others.

There is no exodus, bozo, and until this past year, there wasn't even a means to collect information on the reasons and intents of teachers, admins, or any other type of employee who lefs FCPS. We know that FCPS as system has been underfunded for years now. It's the right-wing assholes however who need to be convinced of that simple fact and of the need to correct it. You only need to listen to their ridiculous "meals tax" blather to know that it is they who are the ignorant villains in this piece.
