The Cuts

WASHINGTON REDSKINS RELEASE 21 IN ROSTER CUTDOWN

The Washington Redskins announced the 2nd they have released 21 players to reach the NFL mandated 53-player active roster limit.

No shit on the O-line. I think that is Saunders plan, though, to put more receivers out on the field and to fuck with opposing Defenses by putting Cooley out at as TE and Sellers out as a HB/optional TE. For this to work, though, Brunell is going to have to use a quick drop and release, which he hasn't demonstrated a knack for. I imagine we will see Jason Campbell out there before this season is over.

Did anyone see the Fins last night? I guess Saban thought that Culpepper was enough of a scrambler that he didn't need to have an O-line for him. And what was the deal with that pussy-ass flag throw? I thought Saban was a tough dickhead. Looked more like a whiney little bitch last night.

only watched first quarter last night. neither of those teams will make it to the playoffs. steelers d looked good for a first nighter

How many games have the Steelers won when Big Ben starts? 80 percent or more?

Gotta agree with that. It is waaaayyy to early in the year to write the Steelers off. I can't even think of any reason why someone would have the opinion that they are not playoff-worthy at this point.

I think it is funny dallas picked up owens and he is already a pain in the ass. He can split a team apart faster than anyone I know.
His arrogance will cause dallas more headaches than they expect.

On the redskins they are already banged up and havent had the first game that counts. That was still one hell of a hit portis laid on that guy even if he did get hurt. The redskins need more tough guys like him. Reminds me of Brian Mitchell.
