Anyone know of any locally owned gyms in FFX county? Not the WSC/Lifetimes/Ballys, something with reasonable rates and basic equipment, lockers/showers.

Thanks in advance.

which anytime fitness? The one in Vienna is filled with pretentious self important Vienna fucks. Go ahead and try to lift weights in there like a real man and people look at you like you have three heads. They can all choke on their starbucks and their sushi. If you can't tell I hate Vienna.

You can also check out the "Sport and Health Club" in Reston, VA. They're a D.C. Metro Area Gym, and they have larger locations at Worldgate in Herndon, VA, and in McLean, VA (With a Pool), but I enjoy the Reston one best. I don't like gyms that are extremely closed in (With hallways between rooms), or overcrowded. The Reston Sport and Health Club is real busy between 5PM and 8PM on Weekdays, but before or after it's all gravy.

Who would even pay to join a gym? Just do 250 push ups and 250 sit-ups a day at home. Jog or bike for cardio. Use the money you'd spend at the gym to buy a hooker.

Anywhere but Fitness First in Falls Church. There are already enough clowny ass meat heads and attention whores clogging up all the equipment at 5-8pm every day. It's painful to get my workout in there.

I heard they are pretty cheap. I think that is where I am headed, Falls Church. Get ready for one more member taking up a free weight bench.

Every Body Fitness (formally Nauti Body) in Springfield/Burke. They are opening another location soon. No classes, just basic work out equipment

Meade skeleton has a gym in his basement he wud be glad to let you use. The only catch is you have to be naked when you spot him on the bench press.

If you consider Volleyball and Basketball to be a gym workout, then yeah. Otherwise, say hello to standing push-ups, curls using bags full of books, and bodyweight squats.

Olympus behind Target in Burke/Fairfax is a hole in the wall with nothing but old equiptment, but it's only $15 a month. I stopped going months ago but for the price,it's nice to know you have a shitty gym to work out at if you really wanted.

Most of them (not all) are pretty much a scam and just want your money. I would look them up before you join and make sure they are not on scam alert or something. Some have been known to rip people off money. Or change the amount you owe if you want to quit, even if it says something different in the fine print. If you can't find a good place, maybe check youtube for exercise tips and routines. People have been exercising for centuries without fancy equipment.

George Mason Aquatic & Fitness Center.

Decent weight machines and free weights, extensive cardio selection and two pools make this an outstanding buy.

The problem is that you have to drive to Richmond every day.
