Every time I watch the local news, be it DC, Va, or Md, and they interview witnesses to crashes, crimes, events, etc, they never seem to speak to anyone who speaks understandable English.

Usually it is nearly impossible to understand what these people are saying. Are they the only ones who will talk on camera or are there just no Americans left?

Very disturbing.

I have noticed this as well. Anytime there is a news story and they do "man on the street" interviews, they seem to find the least understandable person they could possibly find. Maybe that's all there is any more?

Think about it, far more crime occurs in non white areas, so it makes sense that they would be interviewing them more often. It's not like there are weekly homicides in Clifton or Fairfax Station like in PG. That said, yes the area as a whole is going down the shitter along with the rest of America.
