Last weekend, my friends invited me to the Il Mee Korean BBQ buffet in Annadale.

The food was good and the waiters were friendly. While we were eating, I was
concentrating on the beef, squid, chicken, and other stuff, which the waiteress
cooked for us.

It wasn't until when we were done eating that I noticed the waitress only used
one set of scissors and tongs. She went from table to table with the same set.
Customers at other tables also used their own chopsticks to pick up or flip
the meats on the bbq surface....

In a way, aren't all customers sharing their saliva?

Having said all that, I think I liked the place and will go back again. hehehehe....

That's a FFX County health code violation.

23 and they are still open?!? Truthfully what does it take to close a place. I have seen some with temp closed violations but never closed for good.

Some guy from Walmart just got fired for saying that Korean groceries never throw out expired food. They claim he was racist. I have many times seen milk and food in the quick marts that are weeks past expiration.

I'd actually support a local ordinance requiring restaurants to post their violations in public view. I think that's what it would take to close a place- who the heck would eat in a place if the front door listed 23 critical health code violations? That's freekin ridiculous!

All anybody ever talks about on this thing are "Fairfax Regulations this and that..." Here's a fucking newsflash: Laws are only effective if they are enforced. And we long ago stopped enforcing laws in this country, particularly if there's any possible way it might appear that some type of discrimination could be insinuated.

Holy fuck, I was about to refer the OP to just go to my favorite Korean place (Songbird on Old Courthouse in Tysons), until I looked it up on that site.....

Would go there EVERY birthday. They would give you a gift certificate for one, a slice of cake that tasted like makeup, and a glass of wine/Korean beer. Been going since my brother told me about it(1998).
Service was great then in 2007, other similar places started opening up with better service.
Not surprised they closed. Shitty parking lot PLUS they were no longer the only game in town!
I food challenged a 230lbs high school senior there and almost died!
I ate over 7 lbs of food within a 3 hr period!
It was bad.
