Ammo prices at NRA range
Posted by: Sig bastard ()

I recently joined the NRA and next weekend I'll be going to their range for the first time. Normally I buy my ammo at Walmart or Dicks. What does a box of 100 9mm Winchester white box (or equivalent) go for at the NRA range?

What a shit range, probably around $35 for 100 9mm WWB or Brazer.

Buy your ammo online cheaper than Dicks or Walmart.

Thanks. Surprised to hear it's that expensive. Per their website, "Our pricing is highly competitive as an added benefit to our patrons." I guess they're comparing their prices to Silver Eagle of Blue Ridge Arsenal.

I haven't been in several years, but they used to sell Mastercast reloads for really cheap.

Best to call the range and ask rather than rely on the FFU.

That NRA range is full of losers and a couple of NRA nutjobs.

Go to Blue Ridge instead. Better staff and nicer place.

Typically ammunition comes in boxes of 50, not 100.

No, it's not that expensive. Just idiots talking out of their asses here as usual. Not online/Wal-Mart prices but not extraordinary. A few bucks more.

Prices were "normal". This is an anti-gun forum anyways so don't expect good advice. The employees there were "nicer" and more "friendly" than what I've experienced at other ranges. If you get any "attitude" it's probably because of the constant stream of morons that these people have to deal with. While I was filling out paperwork, at least 2 groups of various ethnicity came in asking to rent firearms. They were politely told you have to own your own firearm in order to shoot here. If they bothered to check the website, they would have learned that.

You should go shooting with Eesh. He is very well respected in the firearms community. He teaches rangasters to be better rangemasters.

I go to the nra range, but I'm a member of elite in Manassas. It's not much further, is huge, is less ridged and has a 100yard rifle range with built in sighting camras. That being said, the nra range is more strictly regulated and someone with less experience may feel safer there while they gain experience( no offense if your proficient). That being said, I like to by ammo at the range I use to help support them as I imagine it's expensive to run and fight off all the self disarming liberals who think all of social violence is caused by firearms(and think the police and government will always will be able to protect them). But I regress. Both ranges are nice, climate controlled snd well maintained. Enjoy and watch your grouping. Gun control is a wonderful thing.

Only go to Blue Ridge if you're an obama ass-kisser and donor, like the owner of Blue Ridge.

Not all those who like to shoot are Republicans, and not all gun control advocates are Democrats.

It's quite simple.

Real Republicans and Democrats have no problem with target shooting.

Join up at the NRA range. The ammo there is slightly more expensive, but not much.

The rest of you tools can go back to talking about how you are scared.

Airports say their prices are competitive as well... as they fuck you out of $8 for a bottle of water.

I'll go to any range that isn't swamped and is convenient on whatever day I am going.

NRA Range has gone down hill. I stopped going there years ago when management started charging instructors for standing there watching the students. After turning on 100's of people to the NRA and that range specifically, I wont go back. Elite in Manassas crushes them in every way.

So in other words you're pissed that they started making you pay to make money using their range.

No dumbass. They make you pay twice. If you go shooting and your friend wants to watch you shoot they charge them too. You cool with that? A class of 10 new members twice a week, you would think they would like to keep that coming in. Bunch of mall ninjas standing around eating cake more concerned about cell phone pic control than range safety. NRA has gone down hill. The organization of compromise.

That's not making you pay twice idiot.

If all that they want to do is watch, then they can do that just fine from free from the couch outside.

You expect them to try to keep track of who on the range line has paid to shoot or just watch? lol

You sound like an enormous faggot. You shouldn't be trying to instruct anyone unless it's in faggotry.
