If you really want to go, I'd recommend going early. The parking lot is going to be super fucked up. In addition to the gun show, there is a militaria show AND the computer show will also be there.

I'm going to the show tomorrow. Were prices any better than they have been the past few shows?

I heard there was a negligent discharge of a .25 pistol at the show on Friday. Apparently one person was taken to the hospital because the bullet hit the floor and concrete went into his leg. Anyone witness this?

It was posted over at AR-15.com. I heard it happened about 10 minutes before the doors opened to the public. There was a negligent discharge at the Salem gun show last weekend and it didn't get much press coverage.

I went today. Ammo was cheaper, but still a lot more than I have been paying online (you can find some good deals if you do some research). I was mostly looking at AR-15s, and they still seemed way overpriced.

Ammo or AR-15s?

I know that I saw Blazer Brass .40 for $20/box and 9mm for $13 box. At Wal-mart you can get the Blazer .40s for $12.47/box and 9mm for $8.97/box.

Most of the complete uppers I saw were well over $600. The cheapest complete lower I found was around $325 I think.

well, if the only evidence is a post on a public forum (much like this one), then I'd say that's no evidence at all. I could go over there and post that someone was mugged at the gun show, and that would have the same level of veracity.

In that case it is already illegal for people with mental problems like that to own firearms. The laws on the books already work in that case.

And I don't recall seeing any pistons at the gun show, not sure what she wants with those.

There actually was a negligent discharge on Friday. That's why they were coming over the PA system about every 15 minutes reminding people that there were no loaded weapons allowed in the building.

As for the ND at the Salem show, I think they just charged two gun dealers with mishandling a firearm or something like that.
