Any one have info on Hattontown, Virginia

...besides what is on Wikipedia. Not much on Google either. I wanted to find out more about the area. Anyone know about the area, backstory, etc. Hattontown is now commonly known as the area around the Harris Teeter (Woodland Park).

I asked the Fairfax Historical Society about it a couple of years ago. They said it was an unincorporated hamlet, long since subsumed into Herndon. Not much else to say, I guess.

Google Maps still shows it (or did, anyway), which is how I came across it.

Corner of Monroe and Fox Mill is where I think it was centered. Likely didn't extend as far as the Hairless Tweeter, I'd think, but of course I dunno.

It was a farm until relatively recently. I always assumed that Hattons owned that farm land at some point.
