I was playing around with the ticket search after posting in Radiophile's thread, and typed only "rape" into the offense field. I was genuinely surprised at how many people arrested for rape had hispanic names.

Of course, there are a lot of anglo, some middle eastern, and a couple asian too, but it seems disproportionate to me. Try it yourself; I'm not just making this up. 109 out of 206 people listed have distinctly hispanic-sounding names. If the name seemed questionable, I didn't count it in this tally.

I'm not saying that all hispanic people are rapists or anything stupid like that, but what accounts for the disproportionate number of arrests for rape amongst people with hispanic names? Does FCPD target the hispanic community more? Do hispanics report rape more often? Do hispanics just like raping?

I am simply curious. When I looked up "murder," there was a more even distribution of demographics. When I looked up "rape," I noticed it was disproportionate, and I was surprised by the results. Had the 109 out of 206 been Middle Eastern or Asian, I still would have posted the question.

Why don't you look it up for yourself? Just go type "RAPE" into the offense field in the arrest/ticket search (you'll find a link at the top of the page), and count up all the names like Jimenez, Ramirez Martinez, and Velasquez, and let me know if you arrive at a different number.

I don't particularly want to post the list of names I came up with so others could verify my results, but I will if people want me to because they think I'm making this up and they're too lazy to look for themselves.

You are actually not kidding. I remember one time I was in court with a friend of mine (He had to pay off some traffic infractions), and behind me I overheard a lawyer speaking to an older Hispanic guy (In his Mid-40's at least, which is not "Old" per say, but you get the general idea). It turns out that this scumbag had Raped, Sodomized, and in general Sexually Abused his three children. They were aged 2, 6, and 8 years old, and this pos was only, ONLY facing 10-15 years for that filth! His lawyer was recommending a pleading of Guilt in exchange for a 5 year sentence. First of all I could not believe that I would ever be within earshot of such a sick display of humanity, and secondly I was astonished at the lenient sentence for a crime like that. Drug Dealers are sentenced to more time than that punk, and I dare say he should at the very least get life for such a crime.

Anyways, if you looked into the dockets and so forth, you actually found that the vast majority of sex crimes were in fact committed by Hispanics, and the jail was FULL of them. I believe that part of the reason behind this is that quite a few of these individuals escape prosecution in their native countries for previous likewise crimes, and once they arrive here they simply fall back into their old evil habits.

As a former law enforcement officer I can attest to the fact that most sex offenses are committed by Hispanics, Salvadorans in particular.

Hispanic rapes are the most in Fairfax County who would have thought.

There are probably a number of factors involved. First, I would imagine rape probably happens with more frequency among lower income groups in general. In Fairfax County, there aren't a ton of poor white people, but there are a lot of poor Hispanic people, so that could be one reason. Second, a large percentage of the Hispanic population in Fairfax is comprised of single men in their 20s, which would fit the rape demographic. Finally, with the language and cultural barriers involved, I wouldn't be surprised if several Hispanics are implicated for rapes caused by a single individual. Think of it this way. The description, 5'7" Hispanic male, 145 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, baseball cap and colored polo probably applies to 80% of Hispanic males in the county.

Do these rapists commit the crimes close to home, or do they go to different part of the county to rape?

I'm not sure why you posted the rest of those statistics, but I'll say it again: I'm not saying all hispanics are rapists, half of hispanics are rapists, or even that half of those 95 rape charges in 2008 were done by hispanics; what I'm asking is why 50% of the arrest/ticket search results for "rape" were hispanic.

EDIT: I looked up "rape" with "2008" in the date field; 29 results, 14 were distinctly hispanic (of course, one guy was listed three times). So, either the arrest/ticket search is incomplete, or those figures you listed for 2008 crimes generalized other sex crimes as "rape."

When I'm in the mood for rape, I want to fulfill those urges as quickly as possible. Traveling in a car means I can't rape as quickly. On the other hand, if I am working in a different part of the county and the urge to rape strikes me, I suppose there are women available everywhere.

I suspect under-reporting of rape occurs in two areas: (1) Buffy (or Buffy's parents) don't want to report what the football team captain did Friday night or (2) Yesenia is scared sh*tless at being deported.

I just looked up "sexual assault." 12 results, only one or two were definitely hispanic-origin names. Half of the results were "Sexual Assault Marital," though.

"Curious," I typed in "ASSAULT AGG." I got 201 results, including "ASSAULT AGG MALIC WDNG TO POLICE" and "ASSAULT AGG CUTTING INST," in addition to plain ol' "ASSAULT AGG."

70 of 201 had distinctly hispanic-sounding names. Around the same number (possibly a few more) were anglo. The rest were middle eastern and asian.

Man Charged with Sexual Assault in the Vienna Area
Fair Oaks Police District - A police investigation into a sexual assault led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man. Police were called to a home in the 2600 block of Glengyle Drive around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18. Officers determined the victim, a 48-year-old woman, awoke to find a man in her bedroom. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and fled from the home. The victim ran to a nearby apartment and called police. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Police located the suspect around 1 a.m. on Monday, July 20 at a nearby business. Roger Edgardo Reyes-Martinez, of 100 Moore Avenue in Vienna, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with burglary with the intent to commit rape and rape.

We should clairfy, people with black hair, dark eyes or shoe sizes of 6-10 are more rapists.

Simply read the daily Fairfax police report. Most rapists pictured are Hispanic. This situation is not racist; it's factual. I wonder how many of these Hispanics are illegals and how many are deported? Shouldn't this data be public information? For example, check today's Hispanic rapist:

Fuck deportation. If they are here illegally, what sense does it make to deport them for rape? Put them in prison. Otherwise it is a free trip home and they will be back in a couple of months.

- MS13. This is obvious and nobody has said it yet, as far as I know they are the biggest gang in the area by far.
- Many Hispanic men come to the area and work and send money back to their families and return to them once they have saved a lot of money. As far as I know this isn't nearly as common with European, Asian or African immigrants, likely because of the proximity to their native countries. I would imagine this would contribute to sexual frustration (even though I know rape is about power and not sex). Also there isn't the shame of having your family know that you are a rapist.

I would be very interested in knowing the victims' demographics. Is it hispanic on hispanic crime, or are the victims of other races?

The East Germans were keeping their population from escaping. A huge difference from keeping people out.

It obvious that something has to be done to keep the undocumented foreign nationals from invading our county and increasing the costs to place the guilty in jail and prisons, as well as providing expensive social services, which American citizens pay for.

I don't know the solution. I think, however, that we have to be less benevolent and work harder to remove the criminal element from the aliens. And, yes, by all means let's incarcerate them for their misdeeds and then deport them.
