Yeah if there's a discussion somewhere else, please post it. Sounded intense. A ton of cars with sirens through a neighborhood that time of night is usually unnecessary. I told my wife they were probably doing an exercise.

I heard this too, but there's nothing on the FCPD Blog about it yet.

If nothing obvious is posted in the next day or two, maybe I'll contact the PIO and see if they can tell me anything.

Greeley runs from rolling and crosses old Keene mill.
Carrleigh starts near the corner of rolling and Old Keene mill at the Springfield country club and runs 2 miles back to a dead end. Was supposed to reconnect with Old Keene mill, but county said know in 1972.

The back stretch is one of the most desirable places in Springfield. No through traffic and wooded parklands. Has it's own community pool, Walden Glen.

Yep, if you don't know where you are going, the police will trap you in at forester and greely since the by station is close to forester.

Safest neighborhood in the area.

Here's the information from the FCPD Blog:
Cruisers Struck During Weekend Pursuit
February 22, 2016
https://fcpdnews.wordpress.com/2016/02/22/cruisers-struck-during-weekend-pursuit/
Officers charged a 30-year-old, District of Columbia man, after a pursuit that began around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 21.

A 1996 Toyota sedan was observed with improper license plates and the driver was suspected of being under the influence. Multiple officers attempted to make a traffic stop but the driver ignored the officers’ orders to stop and fled. During the incident, three Fairfax County Police cruisers sustained damaged after being struck by the suspect vehicle multiple times. No officers were injured.

The incident ended in a cul-de-sac located off of Carrleigh Parkway at 2:33 a.m., with the suspect being taken into custody. He sustained minor injuries during the pursuit and was transported to a local hospital. He was released a short time later and then transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The driver, Torrie Lee Wilson was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, assault on law enforcement, speed to elude, no operator’s license, and improper registration.
No picture was provided of Torrie Lee Wilson, so instead here's a picture of fitness model and former professional wrestler Torrie Anne Wilson, instead.

A 1996 Toyota? 20 year old car? 3 cruisers sustained damage?

He went to the hospital so all felony charges are dropped due to double Jeopardy. He will most likely get 8 months plus 500 hours community service.

He can sue the police for at lest 75k for his injured.

Greeley Blvd is in West Springfield. It's an entirely different demographic as well as ZIP code.

I bet the police love it when they flee. It’s good practice. I am glad I live in Fairfax County. Even though police can be dicks, I do respect and appreciate them. I feel much safer here than I would in any other jurisdiction nearby. Thanks FCP for getting that hoodlum.

12 patrol cars responded to this incident.
Noting else going on at 2:45 I guess.
The three car damaged because cops want to block him in.

Really?
