People are constantly adding things to pot, if for no other reason, to add weight to the product. If you're lucky, the additives are natural, like orange or banana peels or even bread to keep the product moist. There's no telling what else people will try. I don't know what the reason for the RAID or formaldehyde would be but, like believe it said, if you can't tell by the look or smell then you have no business smoking.

You either heard a scare tactic myth, or what you heard is that some people add crack and meth to their own weed when they smoke it, to enhance their high.

I knew people who would sprinkle cocaine on the top of a bowl, and use a cigarette cherry to melt it into the weed, basically "crackifying" their weed.

Otherwise, if what you really heard was that people are surreptitiously tainting weed, the only people who do that is the Federal Government, with paraquat.

The only things you have to watch out for is the kb and weed with embalming fluid. If the weed smells like gas and your high is different like you feel like your dieing it has embalming fluid (lighter fluid). For kb and so called high quality strains some will try to put glass and plastic.




Inspect your bud before you buy. Stick to lower grade marijuana when your on the streets most higher grades are just some cheap ass alternatives your not going to get what your dealer is actually saying. I hear OG kush all the time and its usually some ok dank. Im perty stoned atm, i stick with mids they do the job and its economical.

That isn't "mids", that's the low-grade shit you can buy on New York Ave in SE DC.

I used to buy an ounce of that shit for about $50 just to roll joints with, about 3 or 4 years ago.

No question that you still get high. But it really isn't the same high. Not to mention the amount you have to smoke in order to have a satisfactory buzz.

That's why I roll joints with that stuff. I don't mind wasting it, and it takes about a half a joint just to get a decent buzz going.

With good stuff, a gram can last you all day, sometimes two days of a good constant buzz. I once got really lucky at an outdoor music festival and scored some really crazy weed. One hit, and I was high for about 4 hours. Really high, and a nice, calm and heady high, but with none of the couch-lock feeling. I actually felt like I had to engage everything and everyone just to enjoy my buzz. I wish I knew what it was or how to score some again. It was $80 an eighth, but that eighth lasted me at least two times longer than most ounces last me.

Believe me, if you had smoked out with me at that concert, you wouldn't say I got jipped, you would be trying to buy a gram of it off of me for $40 or 50 bucks (unless of course we could find that guy again.) In fact, 3 of my friends did offer me $50 for a gram of it, after two of them spent 45 minutes trying to find the guy among the 5 stages and dozens of tents. At the end of the concert, when we were leaving, I pinched off a small piece of a bud and said "all three of you need to figure out how to get high with that. Don't be greedy." All three got high when they got home from that small bit, about enough for 3 hits.

Well, considering that in order for it to make economic sense the weed would have to be really shitty, and thus extremely cheap to begin with, I suppose it is possible for someone with a really shitty brick of really cheap crap to try to spike it with something.

However, unless he's selling to high school kids or frat boys, nobody's coming back for seconds of ditchweed laced with methamphetamine. Crappy buzz and being awake all night pissed off about your shitty buzz is not a formula for repeat business.

I guess that depends. First, will a cop even bother testing it for anything other than THC? Probably not. It looks like weed to him, so he's not going to be thinking about anything other than weed.

Though, the law being the law, if they ever tested for additional chemicals and found any, I'm pretty sure they can charge you with additional possession charges. If a cop wanted to, he could charge you for EACH seed he finds in your car, but I think you would have to have slept with his sister in High School or otherwise truly pissed him off.

and if weed's usually spiked, its gonna be with coke. That's the most common drug marijuana is laced with, but like the above said, you're going to have to pay EXTRA for it.

If they're going to give it a "brand name" so to speak, they're going to charge you more for it, as well.

Nobody has an agenda of spiking weed and passing it off as plain old weed, except for the government. Anyone out to make a buck selling an illegal product is going to do it quick and easy.

It's not like margins aren't high, and demand isn't high.

In fact, it's just the entire plant, stacked in piles to "cure" and then packaged into bricks. There is no manicuring involved with this stuff. That is the shit that is grown like Corn or Soybeans, in the same industrial/mechanized manner, in some internal region of Mexico. They probably even use combines and industrial fertilizer and pesticides. Grown like a true cash crop.

Knowledge of drugs is not a crime. I read a lot, and sometimes I get bored and I browse Erowid.org (and overgrow.com before it got shut down). That doesn't mean I have weed or paraphernalia in my possession, it just means I'm a curious person.

I posted that in agreement with your attack on Officer Friendly.

And you are right, to some extent.

I wouldn't say it's that cut and dry, however, that if you frequent certain websites and your electric bill spikes, you'll have a swat team at your door, or anything like that.

I do think it takes a lot more than that. We can all make jokes about the average cop being dumb, but most are not, and the police department and whatever intelligence services that may be employed by the ONDCP are definitely not stupid.

When it comes to investigating drug manufacture cases, they build them slowly and methodically. They're going to have informants, monies traced, equipment and supply records, surveillance photos, and all sorts of other evidence built up over months, even years. Whatever website you visit is probably the least important piece of evidence they're going to have.

But sure, that might be a tip off to start investigating you. I also think the whole electric bill spike is a myth. First off, the electric company has no interest in scanning hundreds of thousands or millions of bills looking for anomolies to tip off law enforcement. Second, if you're going to start a suburban grow op as seen in Weeds, why wouldn't you install a Natural Gas/Propane generator, or even a diesel generator, for cost and security purposes anyway?

You don't (at least I don't know how). When I go there on vacation, I smoke while I'm there. If there's any left over at the end of my vacation I just flush it down the toilet or give it to a cab driver or someone at the hotel before going to the airport. I'm not about to attempt to fly back into the US with weed.

(though it is possible to fly with weed domestically, if you know about turkey basting bags and are really careful, and don't carry more than a 1/4 or 1/2 z.)

a couple of my friends have done it domestically. one of them wore 2 pairs of britches and stuffed it in the outer pair. another taped it to his nut sack. and one time they just had it in their pocket and simply walked through. i think they were retarded for even trying when they could just buy some when they reached their destination. personally thats just too risky. all it would take is one random search and you're fucked

I agree. There was only two times that I really felt that the benefit outweighed the risks.

I've had friends who have done it "accidentally", though. One girl I flew to Denver with was looking through her purse on the plane and then looked at me all shocked, then happy, and said "oh shit, that's what happened to that joint!" (luckily, she was a brunette, so she didn't say it loudly). We smoked that in the hotel when we got to the ski resort.

The only two times I did it, I took two oven bags (also called turkey basting bags) and put on rubber gloves. I put the bag of weed into one, rolled it up nice and tight, used a piece of scotch tape to keep it from unrolling. Threw away the rubber gloves, washed my hands, then put on fresh gloves and rolled that bag inside another oven bag, and then taped that one up as well.

I didn't smoke before going to the airport, and I put the package in my underwear, next to my package. It stayed there the entire time until I was well beyond the baggage claim at my destination.

And the only reason I did it was because I had come across some really amazing shit from Humboldt county. It was small enough of an amount that it wouldn't be considered Intent to Distribute, but enough to have a nice souvenir strictly for my own personal use for a week or two.

I'm older now, and have more responsibilities. I probably wouldn't do it again, but 7 years ago, I was younger and willing to take a lot more risks.

it's probably best you didnt smoke before hand. you would have been all paranoid and thought everyone was looking at you like they know. that would show on your face. i think it is better to forget you are smuggling something and just act natural.
