#7 in 1983 was wild. Couple of inches predicted. Awoke to well over a foot.

I remember Jeeps getting stuck in intersections, and Big Ford 4X4 Pickups pulling em out.. The "high boys" It was the biggest of the 1970's here I would say, Then 1996 was like "The Big Snow of 66" as older ones told it. We had some other bad ones since then.

I would say.. That Apartment living is your best bet for living round here in heavy snow..Like back in 2010. Luxury all the way! Apt dwellers have been saddened that this scene has not been replayed since 2010.. But come Friday and Sat All will be Well!

I've lived here since 1949 and number 12 (Blizzard of '66) was the worst in my lifetime. Snowfall total was not near the top but it was a true blizzard.

Like an idiot, I went out walking in it. Zero visibility and I got disoriented. They damn near found my body in the thaw.
