Be careful. I read there are agents posing as kids trying to get people to buy beer at the ABC store.

Vodka. Not exactly a "cold weather" drink but very versatile. Everything from vodka tonics to Bloody Marys.

Jack Daniels. Not really my cup of tea but if you like bourbon and cokes...or shots alone are very warming.

Definitely Brandy straight. Nothing else warms you up quicker. Any brand of Brandy will do, E&J XO is inexpensive, and will do the job. I always keep a small flask wrapped inside a towel in my trunk during severe cold weather, just in case. Rum comes next but it is harder to drink straight, unless you get spiced Rum.

But I stocked up on my favorite Bourbon, Jim Beam Black.
