FCPS Closed 1/22, 1/23, 1/24

Due to the significant severe weather forecasted, all Fairfax County Public Schools and offices will be closed Friday, January 22 (Condition 1), Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24. (1/21/16 2:39 p.m.) More.

Well at least they got in one day this week. Then next week is early dismissal on Thursday and off on Friday. Then turn around and have off on the 15th.

It's terrible, right? Aside from anyone with access to the FCPS 2015-2016 calendar, who could have possibly seen these pre-planned non-school days coming?

You skipped a week. Next week is January 25. The following week is February 1 with the quarter end on February 4 (early release) and student holiday on February 5.
