You mean like sending kids from overcrowded mostly white schools to under utilized minority schools?

Well, the tax never went away. What went away was the deal fee. Which brings up an interesting point in my mind: Where in the Code of Virginia does the legislature give localities the ability to charge a fee to citizens trying to pay a tax? In the past the county justified this 'fee' for a decal. But you can be sure they're not going through the trouble of printing up and mailing out the decals. So it's a decal fee without a decal.

Maybe some enterprising young lawyer will take on the case to make a name for themselves.

Surely if only Pat Herrity had won, the fairy dust that pays for Republican governance would help bridge the gap.

very well said. In the old days when you paid the tax. You still had to buy the decal or you would still get pulled over and issued a tickit. To me that sounds like extortion! Now, I have no idea what language they will use to describe the fee

I apologize, I spelled tickit wrong, I correct, (ticket)

Thank you
