Re: Tysons Corner or Fair Oaks?

Fair Oaks. Not just because it happens to be nearer to me, but because, sucky as the parking lot access is, it's better than Tyson's. To get to Tyson's, you have to navigate the Tyson's traffic.
I used to work at the end of Spring Hill past where Fuddrucker's used to be. In 1995 or so, a coworker went to Pike 7 Plaza at lunch to buy something a week before Christmas. Two hours later, she came back. We asked what happened: she said she waited 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot; finally she gave up, parked, and walked back.
And that was 20 years ago, when the service roads were still there! Hard to believe it's gotten *better*.
(And yes, before folks get all macho, she's not the most aggressive driver in the world--but she's not a total wimp, either, and commuted from Gaithersburg to Tyson's for a decade, so she was used to traffic. My point stands.)
