According to this report, an officer tazed an individual that assaulted him/her, but then the officer was arrested? The note doesn't say why the officer is in trouble, anyone have any details?

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT, 3000 block of Gatehouse Plaza, 10/07/15 at about 5:50 p.m. While on patrol, an officer came across a single vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle attempted to open the officer’s cruiser door. The driver then raised a bottle to hit the officer. The officer deployed the electronic control weapon but the suspect continued his combative behavior causing damage to the officer’s cruiser. The officer was able to take the suspect into custody and was arrested. Jonathan P. Boduch, 23, of Arlington, was charged with DWI 2nd offense, refusal, felony destruction of property, accident hit and run, assault on law enforcement, and obstruction of justice.

That’s not what it says.

It doesn't say what the officer was charged with. Somebody in FCPD should, however, be charged with poor grammar. The Grammar Police, they are not.

How about the following?

Eventually, the officer was able to gain control of the situation and the suspect was arrested.

In its definition, the word “arrested” means "to take into custody”
