Why did they come to my house yesterday? I told them I already give them money with my taxes dollars and that they shouldn't come to my house ever again and ask me for money. and the little liberal girl couldn't respond.

Why did they come to your house? I don't know, maybe they thought a rational human being lived there? They know better now.
Two nice young ladies from the Lake Braddock band came to my house yesterday. I wrote them a check for 100 bucks and wished them a good season.
These young people are going to inherit a world that we completely fucked up. They'll find out soon enough that there are millions of assholes like you. Let them enjoy there youth for now.
Next time (if there is a next time), just tell them no thanks.

I always give a little if we get a high school kids on Tag Day. What the heck - at least I know that money goes to a good cause as opposed to my tax dollars. And it's voluntary unlike my tax dollars. You should read A Christmas Carol - you sound like a guy named SCROOGE.
By the way, you do know that not all high school kids are "liberals?"

Maybe she was just too polite to tell you what an ass you were. More likely you saw her coming, closed the blinds and cowered in the dark until she went away.

TAG Day is where the kids beg door to door for additional money for things that taxes don't cover (maybe because the admins are spending a lot of it on themselves instead of the kids).
Because the children were used to raise the money, the money is supposed to go into a school account, where you should be able to monitor what is done with it. Some schools are not following procedure and allowing this money to go into a Booster club account, whereupon they can send it away to colleges that certain lucky members send their kids to if they want, or hand it out to people they like, or send their teacher to a "conference" in the Bahamas, send the officers to a nice restaurant for dinner, or just take off with it. They also put it to good use buying things for the school. It just depends.
No matter how you look at it there can be problems. There can also be a lot of good things, too.
The teachers and parents frequently pressure the kids into doing this, telling them it is mandatory, when it is not. There is absolutely nothing you can do to anybody who chooses to not participate. But they threaten anyway. Mandatory, required, etc. These things are OPTIONAL. 100%.
They are not supposed to be applying a portion of it to the individual participants' personal class bills, but I would bet some are still doing it.
Don't give the kids a hard time. They are helpless pawns of the adults who run these things. Many of them are being strong armed by a teacher into doing this. Or their parents are under pressure from the other parents or a teacher.
