Man’s body found near bus stop in Fairfax Station

Posted: Wednesday, September 9, 2015 9:34 am | Updated: 9:52 pm, Wed Sep 9, 2015.

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found early Wednesday near a bus stop on Crosspointe Drive in the Fairfax Station area.

The body was discovered around 6:45 a.m. in the 9500 block of Crosspointe Drive. Police say there does not appear to be any threat to public safety. The man’s identity and cause of death are unknown.

The case marks the eighth time this year bodies have been found in Fairfax County. All of the cases appear to be unrelated.

does anyone know who this person is? it says 60 year old male in today;s news but no description of residence or name? military secret?

Although they can't prove it, the police said they are pretty sure the guy's name was Lenny.

But that's OK, the less rats and cockroaches blocking your way into the home depot is always a good thing.

Of course, Crosspointe Drive is really in Lorton. We true Fairfax Stationnaires refer to the Crosspointe subdivision as 'Faux-fax Station' (insert derisive, condescending chuckle here).
