What restaurant should I go to?
Posted by: Restaurant choices ()

I have relatives coming and I'm wondering which restaurant we should go to...

We were wondering if Nando's PERi PERi is a good restaurant? And also is there any buffets similar to the Hibachi Buffet in Chantilly?? Thank You So Much

That places rules. You can get a Chad Dukes cheese steak and a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi for like 8.99. It totally kicks ass.

Haven't tried it, but I hear the ABC Canteen by Fairfax Circle is top-notch food at great prices! Treat your guests to the best for less!

Go to the grocery store (I prefer wegmans or costco when having guests over for their better quality meats... me personally I'm cool with shoppers)

Get as many big juicy steaks as there are people. Also get some jumbo shrimp, maybe some

Get red potatoes, onions, carrots, etc for veggie kabobs

Get a nice apple pie

Throw all the above (yes even the pie can be heated on the grill at the end!) on your grill at home

Break out the box or 3 of wine for the ladies, a good beer for the menfolk (or vice versa)

Turn up the tunes (pandora has good mixes)

Enjoy! Probably cheaper than a restaurant these days- and more cozy and you can get drunk at home.

Just swagger into your local 7-11, and see what Bopaul has up on the rotating hot doggie machine tonite.

Don't forget to select a cold beverage from the collection in the 7-11 wine cellar.

What restaurant? Depends on location, kind of food you want, and atmospherics. Some like Tippy's Tacos, some like Taco Bamba, some like District Taco. Some like to pick up a package of tortillas, some beef, tomatoes, chilis, onions, and lettuce, and cook up a few tacos at home.

Outside that BJ someone already mentioned in the Wegmans parking lot, I would take them to Honey Pig Korean BBQ if they are gringos. It will be a cultural dining experience they won't forget even though they won't know exactly what they ate or how it got paid for.

Pretty great, but the crispy pork spring rolls are pretty wonderful. And if you haven't tried the grilled black pepper beef, you really should, it may be the best thing they do.

No, Four Sisters is in the Mosaic District. So is Sea Pearl, which is run by one of the sisters and also very good. You should try to get out more.

I don't think they have anything that would reach the level of Nando's Peri Peri.
