It's somehow both slower and more expensive than the commuter bus to falls Church. You almost gave to try to screw it up that badly

Metro is run by incompetent idiots. I get $125 every month in subsidy so I have to ride it for half the month. Once the subsidy runs out, I drive the rest of the month. They won't get one dime of my money with such shitty service. Every day something goes wrong on my commute when I take Metro. Every frickin' day.

Sure you do champ. You must be a damn idiot because if you get the metro subsidy you would know you could be getting double that amount for driving and parking instead. Enjoy your day in your parents basement.

Nope, not without a carpool there Sparky. Not where I work. Now why would some troll on the Interwebz, who doesn't know me, where I work or what kind of subsidy I receive or what my organization offers think they know what I 'could be getting'? Weird

Slow and expensive.

I have taken the Silver Line maybe 4 times, a few times to National Airport and once to a Redskins game.

I even contact DUMB ASS Metro and suggest the idots offer a Lunch Time Fare between McLean & Spring Hill. The idoit have trains running and if they offered like $0.50-$0.75 fares between like 11:30 am and 1:30 pm they would get a fair amount of ridership.

The stupid idea of Tysons without cars will NEVER happen. Tysons is not walkable. having to cross 9-10 lanes of traffic is CRAZY and you have to wait for the lights and the walks are too far to get anywhere within reason.

But if you want to get your car out to go to lunch or run an errand at lunch, it takes too long, too much time sitting at traffic lights, parking is a PITA.

What a CLUSTER.

Metrol Silver Line likely will pick up when it makes it to Dulles and not sure it it will extend out to Loudoun County any further.

Interesting if you are out at Dulles, there is a LOT of concrete work vertical supports already in place, this has been going on a while, so the part between Reston and Dulles is the current delay.

This report should alleviate the fears that Metro will bring those savages into idyllic suburbia.

They need a restaurant/bar district like many foreign cities. They really screwed up by not bringing the metro into Georgetown and right into Rt 1 Old Town.

They should have put it down 66 all the way to Gainesville so commuters could use it or down Route 1 into Alexandria to Ft Belvoir first so the military workers could use it...but NOOOOO they went after Tysons because they have more MONEY in the area.

Follow the $$$.....

Follow the Connelly. He worked at SAIC Tyson's when they were haggling with where the Metro stops would be. He got 4 stops at Tysons, including one with a walkway to SAIC. Insane.
