It will be hard competing against the high class and high quality of Neighbors.
Where exactly? What type of bar? What kind of clientele are looking to have? Sarcastic unmerciful message board members?

Beer and crap food alone will not make enough money. Vienna Inn can do it because they have been there forever and the cost of the facility is far lower than a new business starting up. They serve liquor, too.

Not sure I'd agree with that. Vienna has been pretty insulated from the recession. I'm not saying that folks haven't lost jobs or that housing prices haven't gone down, but compared to a lot of other places, Vienna has not fallen much at all.

I'd go for sure. A group called Hekemian bought the Tequila Grande and Wolftrap Motel site and is planning to redevelop it. A straight shot down Nutley off of 66 is perfect spot for your new pub. If you're catering to Vienna locals you'd better make it family friendly because there aren't a whole lot of singles in Vienna. Any chance of a brass pole on top of the bar?

FYI, VA does not have any "bars". VA has restaurants that serve booze. Also, your business has to make the majority (over 51%) of its profit from food, or else they put you out of business. Good luck.
