"Can't We All Just Get Along" "Rodney King".
This week is the 4th of July week, traffic will be heavy on Friday and Sunday on the Interstates. Its the nations Birthday , a time to reflect on all those who built America from those who were already here to the Come Here's and those who came against their will, the slaves from Africa.
There are thousands of places to go and things to Do, The Fireworks, the Beach, The mountains. The Chesapeake Bay and its rivers.
Come on down to Fredericksburg and ride a tube on the Rappahannock to stay cool. Heavy set folk like Kilton can grab several foot long hot dogs from the Sonic Drive Inn's here loaded with chili cheese and onions. Or stop in at Capt D's Seafood for a good cheap seafood dinner In Fredericksburg City where Democrats out number The GOP .But its a great little place to visit with its Old Town district and the whole Rappahannock River here is a park with a brand new walking path for bikes and strollers. Don't worry there's only a few that "Open Carry", no more so then Fairfax. I only see one maybe every three months.
Put your tube in on the Fall Hill Drive and take out at the Rt 1 bridge and repeat, you can hoof it if you are a walker
