I was approached by gypsy lady asking for money. She had a bunch of roses that appeared to be pretty poor quality. Forgot to see if there was a real baby in the stroller. This was around the Landmark shops. Anybody else see her?

I was approached by a woman with a stroller in the Safeway in Falls Church. She handed me a card saying she was a Serbian refugee needing money for her child.

I spoke to her in Russian, which all Serbs will more or less understand. She had no clue. I then proceeded to call her a few choice names, which she did not understand.

No telling where she was really from. She left, promptly.

The roses are probably stolen and not commercially raised. I have a neighbor
who occasionally has his stolen so this year he's added surveillance cameras
to his house. He thinks they usually come around 4-5 a.m.

I must say, this Gypsy girl had the attraction thing down; definitely dressed to short-circuit people's reasoning centers. Not that it appeared to be working all that well.

I should have grabbed a shot of who I believe was her lookout; a gentlemen by the entrance of Safeway who looked like he might be her Dad or Uncle. Same complexion; same black hair, and he was keeping track of her.

I was approached by a woman outside of a mattress store in Vienna. She matched the description - Black clothing, and flip-flops. She spoke very poor English, and was selling wilted roses. Curiosity caused me to look into the stroller, and to my surprise I found she was toting around a 30lb roll of German Beef Bologna.

The one I saw around Landmark was different. She had dark skin and was thin.
She was wearing red dress and it looked like she had some dental work or was in need of some. Her face clearly looked gypsy.

I saw another one outside of CVS a couple months ago. She asked me if I would give her my cell phone. She was dark-skinned, wearing glasses and was wearing a veil. Guess I know how that would turn out. She would have put my cell phone in her pocketbook and walked away. If I tried to get it back forcefully, then I would look like the bad guy. And if the police got involved she would say that I "gave" it to her.

I saw a similar bitch at Nutley Safeway a few weeks ago, pushing a baby stroller with a kid and showing people a note with some sob story.

She is probably part of the new Spring batch of gypsy scum making rounds. They will beat around NoVa until they have to move on.

I hope so. There's a few notorious local Gypsy families facing evictions right now. I'm wondering if they deployed their women to raise $$$ for their next and last payment in whatever place is unlikely enough to give them a lease.

Man this just happened to me two weekends ago in the Walmart parking lot at Fair Lakes. A younger chick with a stroller approached me holding a note, but I just shook my head and kept walking, and then I heard people a few yards away from me saying she was asking for money for her baby, I think they actually had stopped and read whatever she was holding.

How much money can these people possibly make? I can't imagine anyone in their right mind would give them anything at all.

A Nog tried this exact scam on me in the McDonald's on Patrick Henry. I called 911. The police were there right away. The Latina manager said the same Nog had harassed people for money and phones before. The Nog was told to leave and not come back, even as a customer.

I would have given the Nog a one way ticket to Baltimore though.

The one who approached me at Safeway was not unattractive. Not sure how much of that was the black dress, her, or the makeup.

Of course, that's the point. She was trying to short circuit my common sense. Having a hungry baby at home I needed to get back to at home was a great countermeasure to that.

The one I saw at Landmark was too thin to be considered attractive. The one I saw at CVS was attractive and looked professional. She could blend into any office environment.

I was at the Chipotle at Burke Centre and there was a Gypsy lady with a stroller holding a sign asking for money, she fit the description. I also saw her at Twinbrook Center.

If they have to beg, how the hell did they get into the country to begin with? Air fare costs money from Europe. You have to have a Visa and fill out paperwork in English.

The only explanation would be that they are owned by international crime syndicates operating these human trafficking rings, and these are the victims being controlled as their slaves. That is the reason they can't speak English. They are completely controllable because they don't know enough language to escape and survive on their own.

So why are the police not doing something about this and putting them all out of business and out of the country?

Ummmm.... Dat racis! Enforcement of all basic laws concerning immigration is essentially off limits. Human trafficking may cause a lot of pain and agony for many vulnerable people (especially girls forced into sex work) but possibly hurting an ethnic or racial groups precious feelings is much worse.

Funny think I witnessed a few years ago - I was at a all you can eat Chinese Buffet, and there was a group of Gypsies feeding on the offerings at the bar.

Food on plates, food in bags, food in purses, silverware disappearing. The Chinese staff was running in circles, screaming about too many people eating off of one plate.

The sad part was there was a small group of children, 5 of them, putting egg rolls in their pockets.

I don't think Gypsies can be trusted at all.

Really sad about the kids; they're born as innocent as the rest of us, but their parents turn them into criminals. Not to go "Brave New World" here, but man, It'd be far better if those kids were placed in some form of foster care rather than be kept purposefully illiterate and have their futures snatched away... :/
