So, you're right. Just pay it. It's only $50 and you have said that's what you thought it would be. Don't you have enough trouble? $50 is a small price to pay to get a chance to give someone a break. We all need a break sometime
Besides, they probably don't have any legal way to write off that $50. I'm sure the feds are all over them re premiums. Like a 365-days-a-year every year, forever. But I don't know. Just guessing.
I vote take the high road. Be nice.
