Frost middle school seems to have an administration that only wants things to go away . If a student calls another a nasty name its ok .If the student being called names after months of them (admin.) doing nothing and reacts to defend themselves the admin . has a problem. They don't look beyond the end of there noses to solve issues in the school. If you have a student at the school and they are being tormented daily by other students call the school . Do it again and again. If enough people ride them they will get off there asses and make an effort .

The lesson here is that a student being bullied needs to exact revenge off campus, not at school. For example, drive to the bully's house, break in and flood his basement by vandalizing the washing machine. Or steal ornaments from the hub caps of his car.

When issues are not being resolved between teachers or principals at your school, the next step is to contact your regional superintendent and executive principal. If they don't help, contact the media. Bullying needs to be addressed and stopped in FCPS. It's epidemic and is getting worse, not better.

Please contact your regional super intendents and executive principals.

Learning how to deal with bullies in school is good training for dealing with the many petty dictators that you have to deal with later in life.

I seriously doubt this is how it went down. Sounds like your kid was in a back and forth with another kid(s) and then your kid decided to physically bully the other kid.

As well he should have. Bullies need their asses kicked. Good for him of he did. Sometimes violence does solve it.

So your official stance is that if someone calls you a name you punch them in the face?
Do you get arrested for assault often?
Do you want your kid to get arrested for assault often?

Are you one of those bully soccer moms who acts all fake nice and then bullies people with her overcompensation SUV that you use to hide behind all your feelings of failure?

It is a good thing for them to learn bullying in middle and high school. Saves time when they go to the police academy.

Your gonna get called names after school. Might as learn how to deal with it now. Running and snitching won't help later. Teach the kid to defend himself or he will have no self esteem or turn gay. That's why woodson kids off themselves. Sissy parents teaching them to be sissies. Take him to karate classes if you can't help. They teach discipline too.

I think a parent is writing about this, however this parent should stop being a sissy and tell his child to (If a boy.) challenge him to a fight after school in public, with a large crowd. If your kid whups the bully then it will be posted on numerous social media accounts and will never be erased.If your kid gets whupped well then he should gauge how strong/fast the other guy is. If your child is a girl tell her to go Caan style and make a bunch of anon accounts on social media to taunt her bully.

Words do hurt in a different kind of way. However, the silent stare down works.
Have your kid silently stare the agressor down without saying a word next time the name calling happens.

The rule is: The 1st time the other kid lays a hand on your child, your child says "that's one"
The very next time: your child says "that's 2"
If it happens again: your child punches the agressor straight in the nose as hard as he or she can. 3 strikes and you're out!

I bet that bully won't want to mess with your child again.
Happened to me. I got suspended and I was the one being bullied, but my father told me he was proud of me for standing up for myself and I had a few days off of school too!

Also, I agree with writing the higher ups -- super intendent, etc. Tell them what is going on. My father did this, even after I let the bully have it, but they did not want to do anything consturctive, but at least he stood up for me too.
That bully was scared shitless of me from then on. He was a year older. His friends forced him to fight me in a revenge fight after the suspension. He swung, I ducked and then simply pushed him down the hill .. he cried and cowered all the way home.
Stand your ground with physical things. Unfortunately, there is no Right, to "not be offended" in our Consitution. Suck it up.
