Where can fresh pasta be found?

I just moved to the area and I'm curious where I might be able to find a fresh pasta store. Just to be clear I'm not looking for a restaurant, just a place where I can buy multiple types of pasta that is made fresh daily. Does something like this exist in the Fairfax area?

There is an Italian deli at the corner of nutley and 123 in Vienna. Try that.

Have "fresh" pasta. That is not frozen or dried in a box but in a refridgerated case. Trader Joes may have some too, Whole Foods has it too. As well as the super expensive store with some very good thing Burtuiccis spelled wrong but you'll get it right nIn Old town Alex and Montgomery Co. Md . food Lion may have some too. BJ's Costco. Just not between the hours of 7-10 am, 11-1 pm, or 3:30-7:30 pm.

The new Coalfire in Burke Va would have it, but they pushed the opening date back (again) to late 2015.

Must be the same contractors that took 3 years to build One Life Fitness.

Oh yeah, Balduccis definitely. If you're in south county it's pretty easy but if you're out by Herndoras or C'ville, it can be a schlepp.

I can see Fairfax is very progressive locale with an amazing abundance of people focused on and in my posterior. I thank all the rump rangers for breaking this to me gently.

The Italian store in Lyons Village Shopping Center off Spout Run might do it. Or, you can buy a pasta maker and do it yourself.

The deli at the intersection of Nutley and 123 some folks have mentioned is called the Italian Gourmet. If you're coming up Nutley from I-66/Vienna Metro, go straight through the light at 123 and the store is on your left in the small shopping center there; it's on the end closest to where you'll be.

Balducci's: one location (the slightly larger store) is on Old Dominion Drive in McLean south of Chain Bridge Road; the other is at the corner of Washington and Franklin Streets in Old Town (coming from the Beltway, take northbound US-1, make a right at the first light, go straight across Washington Street, and the store is on the right; you can parallel park on the street or go around the corner to an underground garage).

I have never been there, but I would not be surprised to find a fresh pasta vendor at Eastern Market in Southeast DC.

There used to be some gourmet Italian place up in the Eckington neighborhood of DC of all places. Not sure if it's still there and that area's not quite the shithole it was in the convicted felon Marion Barry days. Maybe a quick online search would be useful.
