Gerry Connolly did attend Netanyahu's speech after all. He was assigned a seat in the next-to-last row of the chamber, near a dozen or so standing-room-only staffers. You can get a glimpse of him at 25:15 into the video of the speech.

In case you missed it, Netanyahu's message is that the Obama-Iran agreement paves a legal path for Iran to deploy nuclear intercontinental nuclear weapons in roughly ten years, and lifts sanctions to allow Iran to grow their economy to better financially support jihad in neighboring countries.
Netanyahu identifies three cornerstone changes that must be agreed to by Iran before economic sanctions are lifted:
- Stop its aggression against its neighbors in the Middle East
- Stop supporting terrorism around the world
- Stop threatening to annihilate Israel
See it at 27:30, followed by an extended standing ovation, one of several he received during the speech.
Netanyahu brought back memories of the Bush "Axis of Evil" speech and how the Bush predictions will come to pass if Iran's behavior does not change. This despite praising Obama and several Democrats (only) by name to emphasize that America's support of Israel has always been bipartisan.
And of course, the headline statement: "No deal is better than a bad deal." Netanyahu argues convincingly that the current US objective is worse than no deal. That the alternative to this deal is not war; the alternative is to create a much better deal, and by putting the screws to Iran's economy, Iran will accept a deal.
Closest statement that can be construed as a threat, or warning: "I can only urge the leaders of the world not to repeat the mistakes of the past. Not to sacrifice the future for the present. Not to halt aggression in the hopes of gaining an illusory peace. But I can guaranty you this. The days when the Jewish people remain passive in the face of genocidal enemies, Those. Days. Are. Over." (more standing ovation)
