Where does my poop and pee go

I live near the Fairfax Water treatment facility off Fairfax County Pkwy. It never smells but I know my waste goes there. What happens to it and why doesn't the neighborhood smell like rotten eggs?

It goes into Occoquan Reservoir then at the dam it goes into the drinking water plant. Like half the water in the reservoir is from the sewage plant..

More than likely it goes to the shit plant in Lorton. Where it is then discharged into Pohick creek. Below the reservoir at occoquan.
