Alexa Wesner For President

Now here's someone who might give Hillary a challenge, AND would make an amazing president.

Alexa Wesner is currently the US ambassador to Austria. She got there the usual way: raised money for the Obama campaign.

But she is more than that. Much more. Intelligent. Successful in business. Married someone who is also successful in business. Has three charming children.

Alexa Wesner is in the news because of her initiatives and caring in support of the US Ski Athletes and their families after last week's tragedy in Austria. This sort of leadership cannot be taught. She stepped up to the challenge and did it exactly right.

Compares well to politicians like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, without the need for a staff army to shield her from the public.

And she grew up in Reston.
