Doesn't matter. FCPS has more 1st graders than that place has people. The bigger the boat, the longer it takes to turn. Hundreds of schools, thousand busses, tens thousands of people, in a place not prepared for weather and traffic snarled by anything.
There is a weather station at the top of Mt. Washington because it has some of the worst weather in North America. Good place for scientists to study things. But there are no public schools up there.
in Jackson NH where the schools are near Mt. W the temps and wind will be about the same as they were here today (11 degrees F with 11mph winds). Mt. Washington is located in a rare spot where the jetstream dips unusually low to the ground - hence the very high winds and cold. Its very deadly in the winter.
I done/attempted winter ascents via frozen waterfall there and got lucky once with weather and aborted once cause it was scary as shit. Like hell itself with winds at 100 mph and single digit temps (not to mention spruce-traps on approach).
