FCPS Buses Don't Work In Winter, Shift School Days to Summer

Since FCPS don't work in the Winter just shift more school days into Summer. Problem solved and no additional costs.

Remember that elementary school still has daily recess and, believe me, those kids need it (especially the boys)! Summer in Virginia includes heavy humidity that makes it not just uncomfortable, but often dangerous for students to be outside.

There really is no way to create a school calendar with no possible weather issues. That's why the inclement weather days are built in. I have to say that I had a stressful drive into my school on Tuesday. The new calendar includes many more built in "snow days", and I wish the county would have used one on the 6th.
